Triggering Circuits

  The intensive use of AC switches in power electronics allowed AEGIS Semicondutores to develop its line of triggering circuit boards with the advantage of using optical coupling and independence of external power supplies.

OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS:

220 VAC Model:
Voltage range in the AC Switch: 90VAC to 250VAC

380VAC/440VAC Model:
Voltage range in the AC Switch: 90VAC to 250VAC


INPUT CHARACTERISTICS 

CONTINUOUS VOLTAGE TRIGGERING CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Triggering voltage range: 4,5 VCC to 32 VCC; 

  • Triggering current range:2 mACC to 20 m ACC;

  • Turn-off voltage range: < 2 VAC and current < 500 mA;

  • Input impedance: 1,5 kW;

  • Input access allowed to be connected in series and parallel, respecting the above conditions.


ALTERNATE VOLTAGE TRIGGERING CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Voltage range: 90 VAC to 250 VAC

  • Turn-off voltage range: < 10 VAC;

  • Input impedance: 54 kW;

  • Input access allowed to be connected in series and parallel, respecting the above conditions.


INPUT / OUTPUT COUPLING:

  • Optical coupling;

  • Input / Output isolation: 2500VCC.


TRIGGERING CIRCUIT 

  • Input signals through opctical coupler;

  • No external power supply required.
